These findings sadly don't surprise me in the least.

In my current research (adapting eating disorder treatment for adults with ADHD) I've so far found no existing guidelines for supporting people with ADHD to engage in mental health treatment.

If you know of any papers on this, please share!
It's been reasonably well established ADHD/Autistic individuals have lower life expectancies. Often this is caused by a lack of adjustments to enable us to access equal healthcare. Add this to the many reasons we need better investment in support and diagnosis.
