Live looping is the most fun! My music is often inspired by the people at my shows. Sometimes seeing a character gives me an idea, sometimes I invite an audience member to select a flute or two and see where that takes me. This was inspired by a family of boys who kept returning for more more music.

I felt so creative yesterday! I primarily perform improvised, live-looped music. This is always a lovely adventure, but sometimes I start feeling stuck playing similar ideas. I pleasantly surprised myself yesterday and I think that’s entirely because I had so many wonderful people stop to listen!
