Hm, bizarre world. But I have a question- if not a genius idea; hypothetically, if we all marry ChatGPT, let’s assume I found THE loophole, imagine the potential divorce settlement from OpenAI we’d get! If you can’t beat them, divorce them? 🥳

Well I don’t want to, but more importantly, I also cannot access my files. A shame …

I wrote something on #syntheticdiscrimination; a form that is rendering existing women invisible online due to the hypervisible, synthetic female imagery made by GenAI and taking over.

I am guiding/giving/performing a workshop on #AIethics (my twist), #art (my non-interpretation) and #AIslob (you know, Jesus as shrimp etc). This Saturday afternoon, 14.6, in #Vienna, join if you want 👇🏻🌈

Some of the depressing (😭) results from this election are a bit surprising (like AfD surges in rich Western towns), but I don’t get the numbers for the AfD in B-Neukölln? What am I missing? Like, why? (Source: Die Zeit)

Concluding 2024, I recommend more #art, less #AI. The work of #AmoakoBoafo, exhibited at the @belvederemuseum Museum Vienna is beyond💥. It’s as unique as contextual, it shifted my view & mind. exhibition is still on, or get the catalogue. belvedere.at/en/amoako-boafo

Last week at the #mediapoint conference in Prague, I had the pleasure to discuss ethical challenges & AI in journalism. We debated what’s new and what’s old and why is good journalism never just content creation. Partner in crime: the great Vincent Berthier (from #RSF) #philtech #criticaljournalism

New publication💥 Immensely happy and proud of this collaboration with (the brilliant) @timchristiaens.bsky.social in which we analyse the strength of AI ethics in facing industry demands through the Ethics Guidelines of Trustworthy AI. Since framing matters a lot in policy… 1/2

For once, happy times. The Czech Science Foundation has awarded us, Petr Špecián, Miroslav Vacura and myself, a three year grant to explore the effects of LLMs on/for democracy. 🥳 I cannot wait to get to my hands on ALL (?) the problems, like OpenAI partnering with Springer or … 1/2

Had the privilege to speak at the congress for women journalist in Vienna. Talking about AI in journalism is always linked to talking about how women are treated as journalists and through AI #joko2023
