I doubt even the creators of this version would seriously argue that their's was "better" than the original but it definitely does "add" something (humour?). I must have heard it at least 10X more than the S&G release, and I think I'm better off for it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B3I...

iliketrains' Christmas Tree Ship is wonderful. I played it on repeat at a pre-christmas family do and there wasn't a peep of dissent, even from my wife who doesn't usually like iTrains.
