And another thing: the ladle on the gravy boat is not for pouring, but the place to rest the ladle. This is especially true if the gravy boat's underplate is attached. Otherwise, you end up with a mess. #thanksgiving

I do believe it was Mrs. Beeton who said "When pastry comes out, meat may go in." Awfully important when one considers the cooking order for #thanksgiving and the other Great Feasts.
