Watching this video a number of times: it seems to me that Mrs. Leavitt thinks a "lawful order" refers to the procedural process, not the permissibility or constitutionality.
Which is just extremely bizarre?

I believe that's what me means, too. But that's just the thing; the actual context of the quote is directly contradictory to the way he thinks its supposed to be used

This guy definitely does not know what "politics is the art of the possible" refers to.
Otto von Bismarck's quote refers to focusing political efforts on pragmatic and attainable goals, and not wild policies that can't be implemented

It literally refers to the opposite of what he seems to think.

Accordingly, I make this evil of murder what I love best and do not care of the law that I have acknowledged. Then I choose murder not because it is bad, but in respect to concrete circumstances and to the love which I freely make prevalent in me in it is good for me. But not morally good!”

It’s still just so bizarre how suddenly this went from just totally normal to “I’m gonna throw my life away. I love you.”

"I felt like a lt. colonel who just found out the general had died in battle..."

What an utterly insane comment to make. I'd really like to stop this conflation that political/religious advocacy and "spiritual warfare" is anything similar to military service or active combat. It's weird.

Southern University in Baton Rouge, too. There was a “manifesto” that was going around with extremely racist rants.

While it’s totally possible that it was a “joke”, I think it’s entirely rationale to be extremely concerned.

A massive part that I'm seeing right now is compartmentalization

Those "on our side" can be prevocational, meanspirited, or actually evil but we intentionally only look at the good they do/represent.

But "the other" can be good, faithful 'Christians', but we will only ever see their demons.

People with schizophrenia are not going to feel threatened by the death penalty. People with schizophrenia will not be less violent if there’s military natural guards patrolling the streets

Judges arent going to deny cashless bail based on a misdemeanor (calling 911 during a schizophrenic episode)
