god the gnosia anime is good. how do they keep doing it. genuinely, it's very impressive. the adaptation is extremely "gamey", all the mechanics are represented pretty much 1:1 but they still somehow make a version of Werewolf one watches rather than plays exciting? Really nailing it.

Idk man but I feel like if you actually take a step back and think about it for a moment, if Game Freak had to actually design a game accounting for every Pokemon that's been made it would be an incoherent mess that would inevitably take focus off of any of the actually new Pokemon.

In retrospect it's kind of insane how, even with the DS library as good as it was, you absolutely could have played nothing but mainline Pokemon games and spinoffs as a kid and been more than happy. Insanely packed library of games across multiple genres.
