I was deployed there while serving in the USAF alongside Colombian AF personnel who had adopted these kittens.
After months of deployment, I was starved for physical affection, so I took great joy in being able to hold these two for a few minutes.

When traveling abroad in tourist destinations, I've begun a practice of waking early to walk the city in the relative quiet and cool of the early morning. Watching Rome come alive in late June '22 was a highlight.
