A herd of goats now lives where the Cernunnos statue was found.

The tapestry had been seized from the château by the peasantry during the French revolution, and used as a cover to keep potatoes from freezing. It was recovered and restored by the La Rochefoucauld family in the 1850's, and later sold to the American oil magnate John Davison Rockefeller junior.

Same here! It's so underrated. You just need to get past the "glue man" bit and let it settle into it's full neo-romantic splendour.

Much like its source material, it creates its own sense of time and space out of very few ingredients, and each repetition of an image or a sound gathers a sense of profundity. You feel the dreadful and calm unfolding of fate.

Undermines the chivalric ideal in a way similar to 'The Green Knight'.
