When I saw the #Museum30 themes I had something planned for "background" already. If you look in the background of the Madonna della Vittoria you can see a cockatoo - where did Mantegna see one in 15th century Europe when they are native to Indonesia/Australia? Travel/trade history is fascinating

Museums talk a lot about co-curation, co-prodction etc but even in the most simple ways I love exhibitions which have space for visitors to share their stories and reflections too. The best kinds of sharing go both ways #Museum30
