I'm thinking of the SHROUD chapters from the Shrouded's perspective alongside Beckett works like PING or NOT I or (especially) COMPANY.

I made the Pope a Witch and a friend, and then I took over his lands, and my capitol is the most developed I've ever had it. It's going well, the only thing left is to overthrow Catholicism for a new religion where being a witch is cool as hell, actually.
