We'll see how I fare with MAP05 since it has 694 enemies on UV, a huge leap from any previous map in the set (I think MAP02 actually had the highest so far with 288), plus while I remember the opening I don't really remember the rest of it as well, I've played those first four a lot.

This is just the week for all my consoles doing weird and irritating things, apparently.

Mine too, though I actually saw footage from it before I knew anything about Miyazaki or Lupin or that it was from a movie- there was a laserdisc arcade game called Cliff Hanger that used scenes from it, but also confusingly scenes from another Lupin film Miyazaki didn't direct!

Okay, why did this post prompt a reply and follow from a weird spam account? We really are just Twitter 2.0 here now, aren't we?

The network band issue didn't occur to me at first, but I Googled the problem this morning and found a bunch of Reddit posts from people with similar issues. Switching back to the 2.4GHz band worked, it connected automatically. Guess I'll see how long this lasts!

I also finally found the way to the soul sphere in MAP02- that's a very sneaky switch!- but there's a door in the same secret area that wouldn't open, no obvious switches (the only switch nearby operates the lift that takes you to the soul sphere), I have no idea if it even can be opened.

Though for some reason I thought MAP02 had more of the heavy hitters than it does, and the fight when you hit the yellow key switch was nowhere near as tough as I remembered. Same goes for the secret rocket launcher fight.

I made an ice wizard because I did that quiz for the character creation and just rolled with it, then everything I read later was about how ice sucks and death is the way to go. 🙃
