A 56-year-old female patient presents in the ER with vague epigastric discomfort for the past few weeks a. An initial ultrasound examination showed hypoechoic lesions in the liver and a CT-exam was ordered. Case by Dr. Christos Korres at Konstantopouleio General Hospital, N. Ionia, Athens, Greece.

A female patient with no previous surgeries was admitted to the emergency department due to diffuse abdominal pain. Labs: bilirubin (27,9 µmol/l), indirect bilirubin (18,7 µmol/l), CRP (19,3 mg/l). Case prepared by Dr. Raminta Lukšaitė-Lukštė from the VUL Santaros klinikos, Vilnius, Lithuania.
