Life's too short to be fussin' over'em losers. Yeet'em into the void and move on. Let them come crawling back once this regime finishes its crash & burn. You can evalute then.

This is the closest ever this house will get to #caturday because we're a #GermanShepherd house.

Surprised you're not carrying a zoom lens for the AE-1 (which is the camera I inherited from my dad and I started shooting with) like the 28-80 or 24-105.
I love wide angle shots and appreciate the macro at times but I see you had to make room for other cameras.
Have fun out there!

I prefer context.
Principally to better inform.

But I'll delete if you prefer.

It's my way of engagement on my first cup of coffee, which isn't for everybody 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just heard they're going to be bringing Scrim onto NPR this week for an "autobiography" involving Margaret Orr...
So I guess it's time to dust this off...

Yesterday's under wharf walkabout.
Watching the comorants circling trying to come in for a landing among perfectly-spaced cormorants and all the fussing when they try to muscle in for a spot has yet to get old.

Seen at the Green Project yesterday. While the water inlet valve can use some upgrading, I wouldn't be surprised if the cast iron gas valve & burners worked.
I don't have the space for more projects sitting in my yard!

If anyone would like a clean hay bale left over from the Human Horse Races for mulch or winter plant care, etc., do let me know.

The laser-focus attention & I'll-do-anything attitude of these treat whores is what keeps me alive, I swear
Never you mind I got home to a shredded bag of some unidentified something they should'nt be touching
But they'll come lay on me & paw the phone out of my hand when I'm reading of ICE abuse...

Heck of a Thanksgiving weekend so far.
From 5am texts because overnight site security relay failed to show to restaurant line coolers & walk-ins going down facing a holiday I didn't think I'd taste any turkey this year, but we got gifted a whole-ass smoked turkey today so we're feasting & grateful.

Sometimes when we disappear under the wharf it's just to forage & bring back toys for the dogs & take pictures of mushrooms & their tenants.

Bee: 1 trip or 💀
November 25, 2025 at 9:23 PM
You know, despite all our obvious interspecies differences, worker bees being all of the better sex and all that; there's something about cramming it all in one trip that must appeal to us all on a fundamental molecular level...
Look at the video below and tell me I'm imagining things...
