Jason flicks ash off the end of the cig. Then, because he feels Tim-bourine looking—of course he is looking—he glances sideways. And, there it is. The stare. Wide, dark blue eyes he probably thinks are neutral enough but are anything fucking but: desire, confusion, a bit of startled reverence that would make Jason laugh if it didn’t also make him want to get the fuck out of dodge, because he is not Wing—doesn’t need that type of validation from the lost birdies. But, threaded under all of that? Fear. Fear of Jason, not the mask. Fear—hatred—that he had instilled there when he had pulled a knife across the kid’s throat—Nothing that Jason can do about that. Either Red will grow out of it or he doesn't. But Jason’s curious which way the fault line will form. Curious what shape Red’s tangled mess of emotions will take when he stops pretending that he is not obsessed—will it give birth to anger or to collapse? The smoke thins. And—ladies and gentlemen—Timothy Jackson Wayne Drake emerges blinking, the ember lighting his face in a brief, flickering gold, eyes shining with it, pupils blown wide, throat working to swallow back something. Probably a cough. Jason doesn’t’ smile. He wants to. But he doesn’t. There is only so much of Red’s sputtering that he can take. Even so the balcony feels quiet. Dick’s departures tend to do that: leave behind a void. Jason fills it, letting his eyes drop—finally, openly—to the wet spot he’d been generously ignoring on Tim’s slacks. Then he drags his gaze back up to Tim’s face— “Three.” *** It would not be inaccurate to say that Tim stormed off. Jason tends to provoke that response. Frequently.

fourth entry for the jayvik horror week, the theme is gothic. This is a direct reference to episode 1 of season 2, where viktor's body is inside the hexcore's substance. Here viktor's body is inside some kind of machinery with a lot of caves and tubes attached, the capsule more similar to a coffin. behind the shadows there are some gothic windows. in front of him, we have jayce, giving us his back, looking at viktor while hugging himself.

I've already posted this fella for #MerMay, but he's also a part of my #KaiJune series so I redesigned him a bit! He's definitely a boss type character~
Digital painting of a merfolk-monster mutant called "Siren of the Chasm". The merman is mostly humanoid; with human legs and barely any aquatic features, but on the nape of his neck is a fleshy appendage, that tethers him to the spine of a giant, mutated anglerfish, as if he's the lure and bait instead of a faintly glowing appendage. It is ivory white and spiky rocks spread across its jaw, belly and back-side, as if they're barnacles attaching to it. The fish is practically an extended jaw. The merfolk is floating above the large and open jaws of the anglerfish.
