I wasn't into PC gaming back then, given my stubborn preference for Nintendo consoles, though there was one game that got my attention and I played a lot back in the day: Halo Combat Evolved, the PC port along with Custom Edition, thanks to a Metroid-themed mod for the game.
Who remembers PC gaming in the 2000s then? if so, what's your favourite game from this era?

I actually did at my local Walmart and noticed that the cutscenes were at least 24fps while the in-game framerate was at 60, kinda like BOTW and TOTK's Switch 2 Edition upgrades. So far so good, can't wait to play it for real at home.

I can see this becoming the next Digital Homicide Studios: Muskrat releases a crappy game made entirely by AI that is rejected by the players. He refuses to accept the ugly truth and sues everyone who rightfully criticized it, and then goes flat broke from all of the failed lawsuits hefty costs.

I still want to see the get ported to the Nintendo Switch 2 one day along with the older Halo games, though the netcoding with Nintendo will be one hell of a nightmare for the multiplayer portion. But so far it looks promising given all the newer stuff they added to the original.

I still want to see the get ported to the Nintendo Switch 2 one day along with the older Halo games, though the netcoding with Nintendo will be one hell of a nightmare for the multiplayer portion. But so far it looks promising given all the newer stuff they added to the original.
