Also my personal life hack is adding a noise and watercolor overlay on top it makes it feel better looking even if my first shading pass was sloppy

I’d say trust the process and if something does feel off u could rough over it to have a guideline is what I can suggest

like to use my own piece as an example you can see some of the sketch lines still there but i think it adds some character

honestly speaking from experience of process of doing lineart the process gets easier (as well its kinda a gate way to painting itself) is to just color over the imperfections and clean it that way instead of doing the whole thing over
