As part of my Great Distraction Tour™️, I went to the Gargoyles game last night and was reminded of the whimsy of a minor league theme night and jersey, as well as not enough teams have purple color schemes. It was good time, and I hope they can get butts in seats.

One of my recent side quests has been cookie decorating - a local baker hosts classes around the Triangle, and it’s so soothing. I had a spooky little afternoon, and even though I made a few boo boos (hehehe), I’m IN LOVE with the little ghosties 😍🤭 #cookiedecorating

Kudos to the Stars’ staff who quickly pivoted when Miro's first star puck didn't get to his intended recipient last night, a kiddo to my right. Someone IMMEDIATELY came over and offered the family an experience on the ice post-game. Well done.
