PSA: how to spot AI crap and fake stories.

And please don’t share AI and fake stories. Even if they seem nice. They are just not true.

🛑 Reminder: Starbucks baristas are still on strike. 🛑

Don’t cross a picket line! Instead, patronized one of the many locally owned coffee shops in your area. Support workers and their right to organize.

I loved my History Teacher Latter from Old School in Lexington. ☕️

My name is Erin Petrey, I’m running for Congress in Kentucky & I have Crohn’s Disease.

Some have told me to not admit I have a disability, that it makes me look weak. But having a disability makes you stronger. We fight stigmas & navigate the world differently. Disabilities make us strong as hell.

My old office where I interned during the ACA passage working for Rep Ben Chandler.

We forget that Congress’s most important work is constituent work: it’s not sexy, is a lot of paperwork, but has so much impact. I’m committed to providing exceptional support to all of my constituents if elected.

Look what I found! It’s the Senate Democratic Leadership’s spine!

I guess they got experimental surgery to get their backbones removed.

What it’s like to be a progressive political candidate in Kentucky.

TL;DR: people are READY for a progressive voice. They are tired of voting for candidates who don’t stand for anything. They are tired of voting for candidates who are just more of the same. But me? I’m different in every way.

Democratic leadership: do not cave! What has this all been for? Stand for something beyond getting reelected. Stand for the PEOPLE.

Landlords: I’m calling on you to cut slack for your fed tenants. Do not evict or levy late fees.

Voters: call your Senators and tell them to stand strong.

The SNAP crisis is worsening, and we must help our neighbors.

But when donating to food drives, be sure you are giving with care. Donate food that you would actually want to eat yourself, things that are nutritious, and not expired.

If anyone thought politics was sexy, I spent part of my day on the shoulder of a road next to a field in Fleming County getting @tacobell.bsky.social out of my white shirt between meetings.

But meeting with the folks on either side of that trip made it all worth while.
