Did Colbert use the word "irraculate" in his interview with Robert Reich? I've looked it up and can't find a meaning. Anyone?

My sometimes new workflow - Step 1. Can't form my thoughts. Step 2. Write a prompt in Gemini or Claude to help me. Realise that writing the prompt has helped me form my thoughts. Step 3. Decide whether I'm ok now. Optional step 4. Hit enter to validate

Whether it's mistakes caused by AI or bland marketing copy, writers and coders are being hired to fix AI's mistakes, and for some it's becoming their specialty
'I'm being paid to fix issues caused by AI'
Businesses that rush to use AI to write content or computer code, often have to pay humans to fix it.

If you learn by doing, you better try and do new things, otherwise you won't learn anything new at all.

Those who take the responsibility of people leadership for granted or dismiss people stuff as extraneous to project delivery and outcomes completely miss the opportunity to scale their impact.

Best thing this week was reconnecting with a former team member, still early in their career that I managed. Was heartened that they still found me motivating but I was all the more inspired by their own growth and learnings in the last two years.

Caught up with a former colleague over dinner. The conversation was about how the work was great until it wasn't and it wasn't for over a year. Like a boiling frog. Was a great reminder that the rose coloured glasses I have in my memory of that place saw the good, bad, & the ugly.

Great feedback is something you can do something with. Its a collaborative act. Its helpful. It might even make you feel excited about how your thing could be better. It doesn't make you feel defensive or smaller. It expands you and your work.

Fools rush in, and books like The First 90 Days outline wise advise about what to do in a new job yet people still are told deliver a strategy in weeks and hit the ground running. It's possible but know that people will feel the waves from any lack of care, consultation or curiosity.

Is it just me or does Notion not recognise Australian Dollar as a currency in its database component?

John Oliver's episode on dollar stores is depressing. The conditions so well documented in the Barbara Ehrenreich book Nickel and Dimed would only get worse.
