The BP is showing the signs of burnout. Burnout from the way Craig Counsel uses them. Counsel pulls his SP so fast and usually only allows them to throw 65-70 pitches. That means the Cub BP usually pitches 3-4 innings every game. That’s not sustainable. The BP arms are dragging.

Take the $24 million left from dumping Bellinger and BUY OUT Mgr Craig Counsels 5 year deal. This man is the most annal mgr. The man isn’t a mgr he’s a puppet. He gets told what the daily lineup has to be, who gets benched, when to allow base stealing, when to pull a SP or RP. The man is a ZOMBIE!

Another ass kicking by a lousy team. The Cub broadcasters said the Cubs have the easiest schedule remaining. Those people should know better. The Cubs suck vs bad teams. SF has won 4/5 so far. KCity won 2/3. Twins won 2/3, Cards won 2/3. So Colorado might sweep them.

I couldn’t believe what I saw. Milwaukee lost a game. They will start a new win streak this week vs the Cubs.

I seriously doubt it! The way they’re playing they will not make the playoffs. The Reds will catch them soon.

So sick of Milwaukee! Will they EVER lose? They’ve won 20/24 games . I just hope by the time the Cubs and Brewers meet up for the 5 game series in Chicago that the Cubs will have woken up from their coma. Cubs must win 4/5 or sweep.

They did. Hoyer didn’t pull the string. Instead of going All In Hoyer got cold feet seeing how pathetic Kyle Tucker has been and how good Cam Smith has been for Houston. Tucker ‘s awful July sealed his fate with the Cubs. He’s not worth a max deal. Cubs will move on.

Gore was Available Escobar, Alcantara were both available. Bieber was available. There were plenty of starters available. Jed Hoyer didn’t want to trade away farm players. This just shows Cub fans that Kyle Tucker is as good as gone. The Cubs starting RFer next year will be Owen Caissie.
