Necromatic Selection is also a pretty banger card. No one expects the board wipe AND steal your commander spell.

Yes it does work that way because the spell is all one instance and the option to return your commander to the command zone happens after spells resolve.
Necromatic Selection, a Magic the gathering card that costs 3 black mana and 4 generic. It depicts Dave Kendall's art of a zombie like dragon with rotting wings rising up from a pile of skulls and bones. It's a sorcery card that reads "Destroy all creatures, then return a creature card put into a graveyard this way to the battlefield under your control. It's a black Zombie in addition to its other colors and types. Exile Necromatic Selection." It also has flavour text which reads "It shambled from the cloud of ash and bone dust, undeterred by its own extinction."

I think the alt text I did is pretty fire too.

I wrote about something else today (which will come out later once the publication edits it), but this is also hitting me pretty deep too.
Some people don't feel guilt for hurting you. They feel uncomfortable knowing you see them for who they really are. They don't regret the pain they caused. They regret losing control over how you see them. What bothers them is not the damage they did. It's the fact that you no longer smile at them the same way. That you no longer trust them. That you stopped making them feel like a good person.
