The first season alone is pretty up and down. The whole pilot episode, the sheriff is like "I cannot let mob justice rule", and then he's just like "oh whatever, let's burn him!". I've fallen asleep watching many of these, which is wild because they all legit have dream-like qualities.

Probably not, this AI bubble will burst (probably sooner than later), and CEOs and decision makers will realize it's cheaper just to employ people, than use AI and then have to pay people to fix everything AI fucked up.

I remember reading this interview with Rob Reiner, that they shot the "you can't handle the truth" scene many times, some of which just panning shots over the jury and such. I guess Nicholson went full Nicholson on each take, Reiner told him to save some in the tank, but Nicholson gonna Nicholson.

I'm glad someone else finally said the first one was "meh" at best. My hill is that this is perhaps the scariest book SK ever wrote, and unlike the miniseries this one could go hard R with a much larger budget, but I was just totally underwhelmed, and Pennywise was dumb as hell.

I absolutely love this movie, but I was always just unsure why they had the Kibner (Nimoy) character. *Spoiler alert* if the pod people displayed no signs of emotion, his character made no sense. He repeatedly gets mad throughout the film. Never made a lick of sense to me.
