I graduated high school in 1991. We had a male cheerleader for both basketball and football. He was this big jacked dude that if anyone said anything about him being a cheerleader he’s kick their a$$. That was 1991 for god sakes. No one cared then and I lived in conservative upstate New York. Crazy

I’m not a fan of this to be honest. The format isn’t even that of a real match. And the players who normally play mixed doubles are completely shut out of a major they work so hard for. It’s unfair. Again my opinion and I’m probably in the minority.
