My Jimmy Carter Story…
I was a Carter Delegate at the Texas Democratic Convention in the summer of 1980.
Later that fall, I attended a campaign event in Houston and I was able to shake his hand. He was a nice man.
Here is hoping that decency makes a comeback someday 💙

CNN’s Scott Jennings embarked on a merciless denunciation of the late Jimmy Carter Monday - a day after the politician's death. CNN should immediately cut ties with Jennings after this appearance and note that when I see his face on the screen, I reach for the remote to switch the channel.
