This book reminds me that my aversion to "too popular" of books is actually a character flaw lmao. It's your classic "solving a closed case" story, featuring a case that deserves it in a dozen different ways. Sharp, funny, brilliantly paced!

League of Comic Geeks is doing some special Darkseid themed reading challenges this month to go along with the launch of the DC KO event, and one of them has led me to the 1970s series Forever People!

Rocketfellers is really interesting! It's got a lot of "indie Fantastic Four" energy to it, and it's written by the GOAT Peter Tomasi, so you can trust that the character-work is on another level. Also, this issue has a variant cover that's a homage of the iconic Fantastic Four #1 sooo I had to lol

I will say, a frustration: I love that variant cover for this year's pride issue and what it evokes from the first issue of Captain America, but like. Look at that issue. He's punching actual Nazis. Undeniably. Sanitizing the image by changing them to Red Skull and Hydra agents is disappointing.
