In 2015 “build the wall” was condemned by every Democrat and every-Republican-candidate-but-one. Now it’s boilerplate for Republicans, and negotiable for Democrats. One guy did that.

They can’t cover it until Important People raise hell about it. Ted Cruz will go on Fox News to yell about this kind of thing at the drop of a hat. Will Chuck Schumer do it now? “Alito must resign! Recuse himself from Trump cases immediately and hand us his phone records to investigate further.”
