I'm so just so sad for those who lost their lives last night at DCA and their families. I'm thankful for our DC, Maryland, Virginia, and federal first responders.

This seems...great! I'm excited to learn more about both the applications and dig into the new expedited site plan review process (for such proposals) that can help build more housing while maintaining community priorities for things like open spaces.

Housing may cost way too much in Arlington but we live rent free in the minds of our friends to the south!
With all due respect, making sure people can live here and stay here (housing affordability and supply) and if they choose, raise kids here (childcare costs and availability) should be Arlington's 2025 priorities.

Setting "consensus" as the goal rarely leaves room for notions of justice, equity, or making up for past wrongs. Government policymaking should provide frequent, inclusove, AND meaningful opportunities for substantive input, but always aim for what is right, not necessarily what is popular.
