I got my sports blogging writing about baseball, but it's a BS game where extreme wealth imbalances are offset by the high inherent randomness, surely the highest in sports, so that despite everything we get this classic
For the basketball fans that don't follow baseball, imagine that the KD-era Warriors then recruited another 5 All-NBA players and outspent everyone, then they got taken to Game 7 OT by the Hornets (yes TOR was 3rd worst in 2024-25). Then imagine the Infinite Improbability Drive turns on
Hahaha truly awesome drama in Game 7. Almost get the world’s most devastating replay review, and then one pitch later the LAL CF has to decide whether to kill his LF teammate or lose the game and of course made the logical choice

If this happens, they will have to replay the previous 5 innings
Rooting not just for a Game 7 of the World Series, but another 18 inning game that goes so long on Saturday night that the clocks fall back at 2am before it’s ended and everyone gets tremendously confused about what time it is.
