A 1955 FBI memo documented its relationship with confidential sources working on what was termed a "position finder" in which they hoped to interest the USAF. Previous work from James Carrion & EFR is suggested in the context of our most recently obtained FBI records. www.patreon.com/posts/fbi-in...

Sources say the Congressional Budget Office, lawmakers’ nonpartisan bookkeeper, was hacked by a suspected foreign actor, and email and chat logs between lawmakers’ offices and nonpartisan researchers might have been accessed.

Congressional Budget Office believed to be hacked by foreign actor
The Congressional Budget Office formulates economic projections for lawmakers, and every bill taken up in either chamber of Congress gets a CBO “score” of how much it would add to the national debt.

In September, we sued DOE over a policy that would let it dismiss more FOIA requests, warning that if the court didn’t step in, the unlawful policy would spread.

Now, USAID has adopted a similar policy. We sent a letter demanding USAID reverse it.

Self-care is not as easy for trauma survivors as it may sound. We've been conditioned to deny our need for care ("needing" anything feels awfully vulnerable) & to prioritize others at our own expense.

Learning self-care can be like learning a new language as an adult-- awkward.

For my latest @nature.com piece, I spoke to 19 different scientists across EPA, NOAA, NIH, NASA, and USGS to document how science is being dismantled across US federal agencies.
Dismantling of US federal agencies will ‘destroy science’
From NASA to the National Institutes of Health, federal agencies conduct research that universities cannot. Agency scientists speak out about the irreplaceable facilities, institutional knowledge and ...

A judge must still approve it before it can be implemented.
Republican lawmakers picked their preferred congressional redistricting map. See what district you’d be in.
Utah Republican lawmakers pushed through a new congressional map that would give their party an advantage in all four of the state’s U.S. House districts — but would give the minority Democrats at least a fighting chance in one competitive district.

The good side of ufology is about real witnesses, their perception, pedagogy, psychology and all the topics investigators have to know to resolve cases: astronomy, astronautic, weather, airplanes etc. The bad side is misinformation of manipulated believers. I’ve met a lot of extremists among them.
The UFO genre has a long history of turning the other cheek when political extremism supports saucer stories. The UFO topic was used to covertly promote such political ideologies, according to mid-20th century FBI records, informants & researchers. www.expandingfrontiersresearch.org/post/ufo-foi...

BTW, if so-called UFO investigators were sincerely interested in learning more about reported sightings as compared to perpetuating mystery, this is the type of research more of them might do; cross-reference known military activities, satellite re-entries, etc., with reports of UFOs.
