"Richard Wright wrote that the gale of autumn swept the trees clean of leaves and drew the hills near, but on New York City streets, the only thing drawn near by a leafless tree is a clogged storm drain,” said DSNY spokesperson Joshua Goodman. “Move your car during alternate side parking"

Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

"Kirk’s cruel condemnation of transgender people and his racist throwback views about Black Americans were no longer anathema but instead are being treated as just another political view to be respectfully debated — like a position on tax rates or health care policy"

MAGA is fawning over Erika Kirk right now, but there's no way she can keep Charlie's audience.

His bread and butter was sexualized humiliation of college girls — more "Girls Gone Wild" than doing politics the "right way."

His followers won't hear it from a woman.

8 million people in New York and I had to share the subway with this racist troll blasting stupid douchebag music on his crappy little speaker. He got into a shouting match with a kid who told him to turn that shit off. I thanked the kid because I appreciate kids who tell racists to fuck off.

Donald Trump just blew up another boat in the middle of the ocean with no legal justification.

I'm drafting a resolution and forcing a vote to reclaim Congress’s power to declare war.

Before Trump’s actions provoke one.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.
