"Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.
start using "fanworks" again instead of "content" let's go people

No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.
If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

If Soul Calibur 7 ever happens, I have two requests for the character creation.
1. Get rid of the equipment overlap system. It limits creativity. Heck, Soul Calibur III didn't have this issue.
2. Allow us to make characters with heterochromia eyes.
