What kind of mistake is it when someone asks what *idioms or colloquialisms* people always get wrong and everyone responds with common grammar mistakes? Asking for a dictionary.
For all intensive purposes, what idioms or colloquialisms do people seem to constantly get wrong?

I adopted a letter for sisters - 3 and 5 - and the grandma just said “clothes and toys” and I had so much fun shopping. Toys are the best. 😍

Over on the other place, someone posted a great graphic called "Are You in a Film Noir?". Although I possess the graphic skills of a 2 year old, I converted it into "Are You in a #NordicNoir?". It looks clumsy but it's INFALLIBLE.

I knew Mt. Rushmore was a desecration and a silly vanity project, but seeing it like this is wild. Even our propaganda gets propagandized, doesn’t it?
It says something about the history of photography and the practices engaged in by photography editors that more of us haven't seen the full context of the landscape around Mount Rushmore.
When you view Mount Rushmore against the background of the sacred Black Hills site which it desecrated, you realize how hideous and pathetic it is. Truly a vulgar monstrosity.

My nephew is convinced he’s worked out how to never get pulled over by the cops no matter how fast he drives. And he says that since he’s been driving for a year and hasn’t been pulled over yet, that’s proof his system works.
