It will make a difference because the owner probably pays $3000/mo for the mortgage, $2100/mo for the property taxes. Then water, sewage, garbage which is $450 every 2 months, then insurance, maintenance etc. If the property taxes rise $500-$1500 a year, it goes from expensive to unaffordable

It’s time to lower property taxes in high priced locations. They’re unsustainably rising for family owners. Soon the corporations will own it all. It’s a sad outcome.
