Ugly, old, scrappy person. Blue dot in Our Nation’s Reddest State. I’m also a good friend and I give pretty decent advice if you need it.
How you know your mom was an RN: she had sutures as a part of her sewing kit. Just in case she needed to sew up a person instead of a hem.

Oklahoma wind is not to be trifled with. That is a filing cabinet full of tools and VW parts keeled over on my 1968 Karmann Ghia.
It should be noted that I have begged my husband to find a better storage system. *sigh* hindsight.

You know how sometimes you find things at your parents’ house and then you get sad because your old high school band isn’t called that any more

When your incredible daughter is dear friends with your dear friends, you get to have an incredible night out with all of them.

On snow days our foster dog Lincoln and I wear matching sweaters. Chilli is less than thrilled about this but she got chin scritches so it seems okay.

So happy to share a pleasant hour with my friend who recently moved from Houston to this little town in rural OK. This is the first snow person she’s made since 1993. Had some leftover supplies so we shared them with two little girls across the street who were making a snowman with their grandpa.
