I don't understand this mentality as long as the person/website has reputable people. How does it hurt you to provide a code? With how hard it is to get publicity for games of all sizes even "small" coverage seems like it would only help?

I don't understand how long term the temperature has cooled on this game. It is one of the best games of generation! Santa Monica is Sony's best studio IMO.

Is it weird that games press and enthusiasts seem to be pinning so much on "indie games will save games!" when by definition besides a couple like Hades 2 and Silksong they aren't going to generate the revenue to "save games"?

Also Spotify announced a deal with Netflix where they announced starting with 16 podcasts the video version will only be on Netflix and not allowed to be on YouTube. I am sure that number will expand and while not "evil" just sucks ass

Cool part of the reason I subbed to YouTube premium is gone. Guess I won't be listening to many Ringer podcasts anymore. Fuck this!

I don't know. I have played 4.5 hours just solo and feel like if I want to make real progress I should be playing co-op. I watched Kyle Bosman stream it and kinda be stuck at the same spot I am and then play with someone in chat and zoom pretty far into the game. Made me think they need to rebalance

Excited to hear your thoughts on the pod but what you mentioned is kinda the biggest critique of the game. It seems too difficult and punishing if you try to play it by yourself?

There are a couple of fights that feel like they could have been tuned a bit differently. However, I maintain no video game is perfect and I think Supergiant got 95% of this game right which is a lot more than most games I play. Still 10\10 for me GOTY easily. 2025 is the year of the indie games
