Still the Peak version of KOS-MOS to me. The other versions aren't bad either with Episode III version 1 being at a tie with Episode I imo.

Omg that's another scene that brings the tears out, the music box at Citans house. You are just there listening to such a melancholy song, and at first you think nothing of it. But upon replaying it and knowing the true significance of it and Fei's conscious knowing it too... It's beautiful.

Oh hearing that music, especially the ending where they they all say their names and each player gets their own mini solo... My Deus that feeling is just, can't describe it.

Gears is filled with more scenes like that sprinkled around. Xenosaga Episode I man... I think it's mostly comes at Episode III where the tears flow. But I know there are some scenes in the first two episodes where it's just so much going on.

Xenogears the scene that gets me every single time and even now just thinking about it is the forest. Where Fei and Elly meet and he's so depressed and Elly also lashes out at him because they both don't want to handle the burden of their actions. Every single time....

Makes sense. The fact I love the uniforms is the dead giveaway of German inspiration. Nazi Germany was many things, but they had amazing uniforms. If I had to guess though, might be some very old English?

It's interesting though that Elly is more tied to the Sun while Lacan is tied to the moon as the Sun is considered masculine and the moon feminine. Wonder if there was an idea in Gears development to showcase this or just a coincidence.
