With all that's going on would prefer to jump to Mastodon, decentralised is the way, but never could find enough people to follow to get to a usable feed size. On Bluesky the main thing that helped was the sky follower bridge add-on and the previous web version. Is there a Mastodon/Fediverse... 1/2

Speaking of clause 28 AARGH! or Artificial Against Rampant Government Homophobia was a comic protesting it. Features a lot of 80s comics people. Some you'd expect, others you wouldn't (Frank Miller has a piece that may be trying to be satire but...).

I mean Stagecoach group's (includes Megabus) owner Brian Souter was a leading campaigner for keeping the queerphobic section/clause 28 in Scotland as well as spending £1 million on a faux postal referendum to support it, so it would be understandable.

Was rewatching the Star Trek series I like (mainly TNG, VOY, DS9 and ENT, some of the TOS and Reboot films are okay) and saw that Modiphius had done a quickstart for their second edition Star Trek TTRPG . Now sitting on my ever expanding quickstart pile.

It shouldn't be this hard to just get a star trek screenshot but ironically some streaming services often block screenshots to prevent privacy. Just wanted a reference for something.

Read Beyond The Shroud by rick hautala [sic]. Tie in novel for Wraith: the Oblivion. Gave me some idea of what one might actually do in the game (I assume based on what I've heard, not actually read the core book yet)...

Managed to sit for the full 45 minutes. Agony, entirely restless. Hopefully can train my mind to settle, then get back even some of the concentration I had before autistic burnout.

Reading: Fate Accessibility Toolkit by Elsa Sjunneson et al.. Not Big into the Fate system but a lot of the advice is transferable to other ttrpgs. Will look more thoroughly once my glasses are fixed/replaced.

The glasses I got just over a week a go have already broken. Hopefully I'll be able to return them, but I've got an essay to write. Maybe a race to the bottom economy with everything increasingly made of flimsy materials that fall apart immediately isn't a good idea?
