Or you could use #zinc based batteries with the energy of LFP but built in an adapted lead-acid or NiCad factory. Oh they don’t emit toxic gas, don’t catch fire and can be recycled.

And, in areas like California, as soon as any wind comes into the equation they are also coincident with "public safety power shutoffs" to mitigate wildfire risk. A few of those and demand for home energy storage system rises.
