Thankfully noticed that the car wasn't going to yield as it was supposed to and avoided being hit while leaving the cancer hospital.
As much as I think about how ironic it would be to be hit by a car going to/from cancer treatment I'm just not that committed to the bit.

No doubt someone thought this was a clever use of limited sheltered bike parking.
I’m old enough to remember when the project manager for Cogswell said they’d be “future proofing” bike stuff here. Instead, we ended up with racks too close together & only enough shelter if it doesn’t rain sideways.

Seattle-based e-bike giant Rad Power Bikes has filed official notice to Washington State as well as the company's 64 Washington employees that the company could end operations "as early as January 2026." A November 7 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification ("WARN") filed with the state (PDF) lists both service-level workers at the company's retail and repair shop as well as corporate workers at their Seattle headquarters, including top-level positions like CEO and CFO.

Does anyone have recommendations for favourite stainless steel cookware?
The current pan is 12"/30cm diameter, 3.5"/9cm deep, and more than 4.5qt/4L volume, and absolutely integral to many of weekly meals.

Sometimes when people ask me why I’m wearing a mask I say I’m traveling or have some important thing soon and can’t afford to get sick and miss it and that’s pretty much always true but I think it would be nice if it were more normalized to just say “I don’t want to get sick” and leave it at that
