One of my favorite things to do as part of a final exam for a class is to make the essay “Describe in detail one thing you learned in this class.” That way, the students get rewarded for what they DO know, and I get to see what worked/resonated with my students. #8weekcourse #professorlife #finals

Hey y’all. The world is dark as hell right now. We have a wannabe dictator in charge. Free thought is stigmatized. Anyone not straight, cis, white, and male is under attack. It sucks. Just remember that YOU matter and are loved and wonderful as you are. Don’t let them take that from you.
