Four particular issues caused me to reject the left:
* I saw how the left embraced censorship in Jan. 2021 when people were overjoyed that AJ & Trump were censored off social media. This rejecting of basic civil rights was illiberal, despicable, and near universal on the left.
* I saw how the left embraced censorship in Jan. 2021 when people were overjoyed that AJ & Trump were censored off social media. This rejecting of basic civil rights was illiberal, despicable, and near universal on the left.

Hatred provides a handle to easily control the person who hates. Trump exploits this to trick his opponents into taking crazy-stupid positions. E.g. Defending John Bolton, supporting criminal gangs, boys in girls' locker rooms, etc.
