Paris est une ville agréable.
I am more concerned about it being a real barometer. I know people like Marc Elias have not been idle, but I wouldn't put even Election Day violence past them.

Bomb threats arguably changed the outcome in 2024.

Yeah, but the push to permanently end democracy continues. I wouldn't put anything past the Republicans, while many Democrats remain in stubborn denial about how grave the situation is.

The purchase of Dominion was bad news.

That depends on what they do to rig the outcome. The multiple bomb threats we saw during the last election didn't work.

How ya doing, Anna?

Steve, you are a treasure. I did my own WTF when I heard it was Jackson. When I saw an article that said it was awaiting a more permanent order, I took that as a sign that she was expecting a fight.

She is fighting for the rule of law.

Does it occur to her that the friends and family she stubbornly ignored were trying to warn her?

I think Jamielle Bouie got it right. None of them shied away from attacking the regime or supporting LGBT rights.

Human rights are not a negotiable political tactic.

Look up the judge's recent order for the Broadview facility in Chicago. She is ordering them to provide to basic human needs.

They are concentration camps.

Perhaps it is finally dawning on him that he would be an expendable prop in a permanent fascist regime.

That's low even for Douhat. The mask is off.

International media. Independent (non-crackpot) media. Are they citing their sources? Is it objectively plausible? Think for yourself, but beware of getting it wrong.

It will get harder the better AI slop gets.

Yeah. It's the actions of someone with plenty of help openly creating a dictatorship in front of us since January. Dictators only care about public sentiment if the public is able to stop them.

The coup that's openly unfolded since January has been too successful. He thinks he's won.
