One really cool feature of Spotify For Artists is if you pay them an additional 16.99€ per month, they will burn your music onto a CDR, throw it on the floor and spit on it.

Brian Eno's "Ambient 1" only sold 10,000 copies, but everyone who bought it went on to start an airport.

Before Bob Dylan, people didn't know you could play a guitar that was electric. They thought that if you touched the strings, you would get electrocuted. And maybe that actually happened to Bob Dylan and that's why his voice went all funny. The point is, there's no bad ideas in music.

The undeniable advantage of using Spotify is that the music is imbued with the awesome vibes of its founders, an association that becomes an intrinsic part of the music forever.

The Frat Boy Cabinet so far will be comprised of: An alcoholic serial sex abuser & wife beater, a vaccine-denying heroin addict, a dog-killing xenophobe, & a rabid conservative misogynist, none of whom have ANY qualifications to hold the jobs they seek…to serve a 34 count convicted felon? O…kay…🙄

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

Some people say to me, "Cassettes are old, why use cassettes?" Look, I know there's newer technologies, Amazon Prime Music, digital picture frames, whatever, but music is 40000 years old. This isn't the video-phone sector. You find something that works and you stick with it. People appreciate that.

Electronic music production tip:
When you're making a roux for a bechamel, you want to clarify the butter. If you leave the milk solids in, the smoke point is lower, making it more likely to burn. If that happens, you have to start again, which means you have less time to do your electronic music.

Idea for a humane mousetrap:
The mouse is lured by a trail of cheese into a tiny cinema. The cinema is showing "Stuart Little." When the mouse sees Stuart Little wearing trousers, it comprehends its own nakedness. Overcome by shame, it flees to a distant land, never to return.

Electronic music production tip:
When you get up in the morning, before you start making your electronic music on the computer, you want to brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes. Otherwise you'll forget and you'll go the whole day with plaque building up, which won't help you with your music.
