In 2016, before Trump was even in office implementing tariffs on a whim, China bought 26.1 million metric tons of US soybeans. What exactly was the point of these tariffs aka tax on US consumers?

The reason he paved over the Rose Garden is so he could host Republicans and his cronies and stick taxpayers with the bill. This is from Eric Schmitt yesterday bragging about Trump “holding court”. You know who ‘holds court’? A king.

Missouri is losing SNAP in November on top of cuts to The Emergency Temporary Food Assistance Program.

Missouri won’t have enough money to distribute SNAP benefits in Nov. We lost 1.6 million tons of food because of Trump cuts to The Emergency Food Assistance Program. But Hawley and Schmitt get a free lunch today on the taxpayers’ dime.

So let’s say a professor teaching economics says something to the effect that trickle down economics doesn’t work. Is that ‘belittling a conservative idea’?

MGX, a combo of the Emirati Wealth Fund and an Abu Dubai-based AI company, gave Trump’s crypto company $2B.

ICE goon brandishing a gun while wearing his readers. If you’ve never worn readers, they are for seeing things close and frequently make things in the distance appear blurry. Which would be dangerous if you‘re thinking about shooting something.

Funny how farmers only need to be bailed out when Trump is in office. They were doing fine under Obama. Didn’t need a bailout during the Biden administration. It’s almost like Trump’s economic policies are terrible for American farmers.

Trump destroyed overseas markets for US farm products. In 2024, China accounted for 51% of US soybean exports. This year they account for 29%. In June, July and August, there have been NO US soybean shipments to China. They’re buying from Brazil now. ag.purdue.edu/commercialag...
