I started working this security gig with the thought that hey “if I can not be a dick if I can offer some solace some guidance if I can speak up when I see something out of pocket” then I can justify the weight it hits my soul. But fuck.

That same family pushed down our throat that getting a CO PD or BP job is best avenue for a career, stability and yeah, acceptance. It sucks cuz a lot will hate the job, the feel the crush at the soul but bills got no silver spoons. And you’re then placed to choose between your family and others.
