See, and that would be funny, but we know who Q was--two guys having fun on various 4chan sub-boards. When January 6th happened, they finally came forward, and--in a crystalline moment of irony--they weren't believed. The "elites" had gotten to them.

THIIIIIIS. SO much this. Especially the lady who died from a "bee venom treatment" that Gwyneth pushed.

Like her acting, canNOT forgive her on GOOP.

I need my woo to do one of two things (ideally both)

1. make me feel good
2. attempt to address something that allopathic medicine isn't good at

If you've ever had plantar fasciitis you would understand, lol

The thing is I like a bit of woo! Reiki? Sure. Massage. Fucking love it. Acupuncture? yes please. But I still get my annual every year. I still get a covid and a flu shot. And you could not pay me enough to get a chiropractic adjustment. I need the only thing I risk with my woo is my wallet.

I'm about to take the empty bag from the Broccoli Rabe to ask my store to restock it because "broccolini" is like $6 a bunch! And has been on a truck for 2 weeks from Mexico!

and it also gives you access to vegetables that make no sense to stock fresh! I can get frozen chicory and Mulukhiyah because I live someplace with enough demand for them but not a big enough demand for them fresh.

OMG I have been banging on about this forever! I worked in cookbooks! I've been in Best American Food Writing. Frozen veg is cleaner and fresher than the "fresh" produce I can get in Montana most of the time, and it doesn't go bad in the bottom of your fridge drawer.

And frozen veggies tend to be picked ripe and flash frozen so often their nutrition profile is superior.

My mom has Crohn’s and the infusions have given her a much better quality of life than she would have had otherwise.

Another data point for “modern medicine is awesome, actually.”

My 🔥take is don't take wellness advice from someone who claims to be healthy but gets routine IV injections of basic nutrients.

If you are a Chron's girlie or someone with pernicious anemia I'm not aiming this at you. Someone with no underlying conditions shouldn't need IV infusions to be well.

Weirdly, I can't look at needles going in. Now I can look at blood being drawn, injection prep for surgeries, I'm fine. But an 18-month hospital stint at ages 6 and 7, with blood draws four times a day...I've recovered a lot, but I can't watch the needle go in.

IDK man. You can both be like "this gives me the ick" and get it anyway cause you realize human brains are weird.

I've gotten so so so many vaccines and I never look. Just don't look.

I always look when they draw blood though.
