Nothing like some chicken soup on a blustery fall rainy day for some comfort. Mine has a Thai flair: chicken thighs, veggies (carrots, shallot, celery, snap peas, bell peppers), fresh lemongrass, basil, garlic, lime juice and salt in the slow cooker for 2.5 hours...yummy! #noms

Last year I met a lovely potter at an #mySCA event in Cleveland. She has the coloring that looks fantastic in sage green (I do not!) so I bartered some lightweight wool fabric for a hand crafted mini tagine. Today is my first use. :)

Menu planning/specialty crafting (quince liqueur) led me to Uwajimaya, an amazing Asian grocery store chain in Seattle. I am making my Thai fusion chicken soup and of course I picked up lemongrass :)

I prefer photos on my contact list in my cell phone. I don't have a good one of my cousin's wife - so this will have to do until turkey day. (They have THREE 🤣). The first time my younger, part border collie, high energy dog met them she was overwhelmed. She weighs ~65 lbs & all 3 together = ~50!
