Remote work does allow for hot lunches. Prep time: 6-8 minutes. Cook time: 65 minutes. (60@425, 5 in the microwave :)

8 days back - new contract. I was assigned a new rile Minday evening this week. Had my intake meeting Tuesday morning. I have 47 candidates in process, including one scheduled recruiting screen next week. Y'all, this is what you get when you hire seasoned professionals. Goal: 1-2 hires in 45 days.

We have been trasing the kitty with a streaming "kitty TV" station. It is obviously filming somewhere in the Great Lakes area (Ontario/Michigan/Ohio) because of the high number of black (melanistic) squirrels. But THIS guy... look at those colors!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_s...

And...leftovers begin! Turkey, rice, veggie soup (onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers), sslt, pepper, rosemary, sage, Herbes de Provence in the slow cooker.10/10 the next day.

Nothing like some chicken soup on a blustery fall rainy day for some comfort. Mine has a Thai flair: chicken thighs, veggies (carrots, shallot, celery, snap peas, bell peppers), fresh lemongrass, basil, garlic, lime juice and salt in the slow cooker for 2.5 hours...yummy! #noms

Last year I met a lovely potter at an #mySCA event in Cleveland. She has the coloring that looks fantastic in sage green (I do not!) so I bartered some lightweight wool fabric for a hand crafted mini tagine. Today is my first use. :)

Menu planning/specialty crafting (quince liqueur) led me to Uwajimaya, an amazing Asian grocery store chain in Seattle. I am making my Thai fusion chicken soup and of course I picked up lemongrass :)

Halestorm were fantastic - everything I want in a hard rock band - ott theatrics, flames, smoke, glitter, capes and leather and bass so heavy it vibrates your ribs.

I prefer photos on my contact list in my cell phone. I don't have a good one of my cousin's wife - so this will have to do until turkey day. (They have THREE 🤣). The first time my younger, part border collie, high energy dog met them she was overwhelmed. She weighs ~65 lbs & all 3 together = ~50!
