Agreed eye of the beholder, I see very little overlap in either style or substance when actually playing through these games

The games I get the closest feeling to Morrowind from now (besides replays of Morrowind) are Obsidian games. Avowed straight up has the same plot as Morrowind lol

Like I said, not disagreeing with the point of the cartoon. The AI just drew the dollar bills moving the wrong direction and it's funny

I get the point obviously but that ai image looks like the treasury is vacuuming money out of Trump's bag.

He's one of the post powerful people directing the resources of humanity. That makes this dumb use more of the real use of science fiction than the good use

One of the most powerful men in the world recently said he's accumulating all of that power specifically to create interstellar travel.

What makes it less depressing that some of those people are on multiple rocks? I'd think the quality of those lives matters more than their location. Only possible benefit I see to a space colony (not drones) is hedging existential risk, and that's the depressing part for me.

Has that been undeleted from the internet by anyone yet? I got a few episodes into season two before it was Purged from the Records.

It's a battlefield in a war for attention that, since the invention of TV, clubs of all types and levels have been losing.

Yes, and, it is harder than just pumping money into it. I helped run a purple district Democratic club. We offered free food, we brought guests in from the county and state level. We went bowling, mini golfing, to bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. Attendance outside the board was single digits.

It could also be that Ferguson is the designated wet blanket (safe district, no challengers, his own power base) that allows Moore and Jones to message more aggressively knowing that it won't happen anyway. These people all talk to each other behind the scenes.

They never use that sort of direct insulting language for critics of the right. "But critics of the President's statement said that it was ugly borderline-illiterate fascist slop straight from our worst 90s fever dreams."

I'm not 100% sure I buy it entirely, but it at least gives me pause.

I was lobbying Ferguson to do it. I'm in his district. His reasoning was surprising to me, if you haven't read the article. It boils down to a conservative State Supreme Court and the risk that if a lawsuit got to them they could force a truly fair map that would give Rs 2 or 3 seats instead of 1.

I encourage everyone to actually read the article, there's a surprising reason why.
